Interview: Mistress Kiana

Stories

1. Please introduce yourself! Who are you and what are you known for?

Hi, I’m Kiana – Mistress Kiana to those who serve me! I’m a London-based pro-domme. The kink I’m best known for is probably strapon – both the sensual kind and the poundings that guys take a while to walk away from. But more generally I’m known for blending femininity with power & athleticism (I’ve got the six-pack and guns, but I’m tiny),  never sitting down, loving fun and experiences, and wearing my heart on my sleeve.

2. What drew you to the fetish scene in particular?

I crave experiences, excitement. Oh, and rule-breaking and flouting conventions! As Mistress Kiana I get all of that, and get to be a bossy bitch too. What’s not to like?

3. Your Twitter handle is @StraponKiana – we’re guessing this is a speciality of yours! What drew you to this in particular?

If you’ve seen some of my strapon clips, you know I love it! Did you ever see my Strapathon scenes – Strapon Kiana taking on all comers, DJ playing pumping a beats, and a team of helpers to swap my dildos out, sterilise my harness and so on?  Maybe there’s a rugby team out there that’re men enough for the challenge…..assume the position boys, I’m coming for you!
What do I like about it? Taking a newbie’s cherry gently is always cool, or winding and gyrating sensually. But my personal fave has got to be jackhammer! When I’m nailing a guy hard, it hits my spot too. ‘Nuff said! 🙂  I’ve got to admit sometimes its a bit of a power-trip too. I’m no manhater but its kind of nice to be the one in charge sometimes 🙂

4. Do you have any advice for those that are new to strap-ons or pegging, but would like to try?

Giving or taking? For taking – the best advice has got to be come for a session with me! Heh – you can’t blame me for talking my own book!  Apart from that, I’d say get yourself properly clean inside (google douching to learn about that) – it can be a real buzzkill if someone’s messy. Then be somewhere warm, and get relaxed. If you’re tight and tense and can’t let yourself relax to accept being invaded (!) it won’t be much fun. Don’t try to take a big strapon the first time – it’ll hurt like hell. Prepare by using a small butt-plug beforehand to stretch you slowly. Start with a small strapon – you can work up to bigger ones as you get used to it.
If you’re pegging your partner, and its their first time, use a finger to open them up a little bit before you switch to the strapon. Maybe not if you have long nails. I like to use powder-free latex gloves.
Keep some kitchen towel and a gentle disinfectant spray beside the bed.  Don’t don’t don’t forget lube – silicone-based lube is great to help you slide and glide, but can be a nightmare to clean up afterwards. Be prepared to change the sheets!
Finding the right position can take time. I have a great sling and winch to get everything at the right height.  In a bed you might have to play around a bit to get things aligned. Men and women are definitely shaped differently inside, but individuals differ too. Some enjoy being pegged lying flat, others prefer their bum up in the air. Just take it slowly at first. A little bit of pain here and there is OK, but overall its meant to be enjoyable. And ladies – let him have it!

5. What is a common misconception about your work?

A negative misconception is that I only exist to fulfil others’ fantasies – almost that I only exist in others’ fantasies. If a guy is horny and fantasising about me at 4am, then he’ll ping me wanting to talk, session or whatever. Its nice to be popular (!), but the idea I might be walking the dogs, doing the dishes, or sleeping, doesn’t figure in the guy’s fantasy. Multiply that by 10, 100 or a 1000 guys and it can be draining.   But I guess everyone finds it hard to switch off from their work nowadays!

Another misconception is that BDSM is a single kink or fetish, and that everyone is into the same things, for the same reasons.  Just take one kink, caning, for example.  Some of my clients want to be caned because they enjoy the physical sensation, the sting, the spreading heat. Others crave the mix of that pain with the pleasure of me whispering sweet nothings in their ear and encouraging them through it. Some are playing out their fantasy that they’ve been bad and need to be punished. For some its a macho thing – can they take it, unbroken.  Others are reliving memories from childhood or school years. Whether its as a pro-domme, or playing with a partner, understanding each other’s motivations and what turns you on or gives you pleasure is really important to making it a positive, life-affirming experience.

6. Tell us a secret

I’m not just a brutal, sadistic bitch! As Kiana I absolutely love whipping a guy, breaking him down until he’s begging me to stop. Or pounding my strapon sluts. You’ve all seen my clips on the web – you know I enjoy my work!

But away from Kiana a huge thing for me is looking out for the vulnerable. Whether its animals, children, the old or the infirm. Before I became Mistress Kiana I worked a lot in social services – both with young people and in end of life care. I took a lot from that, and its an ambition again for the future, in some shape or form.

7. What is your favourite untrue rumour / story that you have heard about yourself?

Maybe this doesn’t quite fit – but I remember one guy messaging me to say he thought I was the hottest TS on the web!  I slapped him down, but he didn’t miss a beat – just came back with “So, anyway, can I book a session?”

8. What advice would you give to someone thinking about getting in to your industry?

Stay safe. Know what you’re comfortable with, and what you’re not, and stay true to yourself on that.  Trust your instincts.

9. How has COVID affected you?

Thankfully I’ve stayed healthy, but I know others who’ve been less fortunate.  Professionally its hugely reduced the face to face sessioning I’ve done – its exactly the kind of close quarters interaction we’ve had to avoid.  Hopefully we’re coming out of it now in the UK.  On the plus side I did find a new audience for online instruction – those in hotel quarantine!

Recently I’ve also been putting a lot of work into my other persona – “Fit Kiana”.  Fit Kiana is all about the body, the muscles, fitness, and being a strong, confident black woman, but with less of the kink!

10. What would you like your gravestone to say?

Maybe “Je ne regrette rien”,  “I did it my way” or “that don’t impress me much”

Mistress Kiana is a pro-domme, regular on the scene, and has performed at the TG Pearl Necklace! You can find out more about her work and follow her on Twitter @StraponKiana or find out more at https://mistresskiana.co.uk/
