News
This time 12 months ago we were riding a high from our “TG Valentines: Red Light Love” sell out parties at new TG venue Studio Spaces, and the showstopper launch of TG Berlin at the end of Feb (FYI you can watch the video from this in another post on here)… there was a kind of flu doing the rounds that seemed to be more serious than your average virus, and although the government were sitting on the fence (surely not…) and hadn’t yet told events to close, we decided that it just didn’t sit right to go ahead with our planned March TG, we couldn’t put customers and staff at risk, so we cancelled, thinking it sounded extreme but we’d probably have to take April off too, just to be on the safe side…
…and here we find ourselves, a year later, and a year apart from the community that we love. We miss you and hope that you are all healthy and safe and that your physical and mental health hasn’t suffered during this crazy enforced time-out, there’s no doubt that it’s been a lot to cope with on so many fronts
The latest announcements tell us life will be back to normal in the summer…we plan to re-start The Pearl Necklace, our decadent dining event that we created (and fucking love) to keep a bit of TG going within lockdown restrictions, May 21/22, with tickets going on sale early April when the date for lifting indoor dining restrictions seems definite.
As for full-on full-excess TGs… we are ready to go as soon as restrictions are lifted enough to make a fetish party safe and, well, good.
As desperate as we are to get back to partying, there is no point putting on a TG if people still have to be a metre apart! If you’d ever tried to clear out the Couples Room at the end of the night, you’d know that keeping you lot apart from each other is no easy feat, and we don’t want to put on a diluted night just for the sake of it …but the news looks promising and we’ve got some ideas that we can’t wait to bring to life.
We’ve been getting a lot of emails from people even while the clubs are closed asking for advice on everything from fetish dresscode ideas to how to get into BDSM…what kinds of BDSM play there are, what steps should they take to make play safe…how do you tell partners about your kink interests, how do you explore your dominant or submissive sides, etc. So we thought we’d dedicate some space on our website to answering these questions, plus featuring TG performers talking about what they do and sharing content, and industry professionals discussing their specialised areas and how they got into what they do and artists and designers showcasing their work
We also want to feature customer stories and experiences, people talking about their own fetish journeys, how they’ve become empowered by being part of this world, what they’ve learned, memorable/ funny/ heart warming nights out, new interests that they’ve found or problems that they’ve encountered that might benefit others to hear about.
If you would like to submit a piece on anything like this, we’d love to hear from you, just drop us an email at submittotg@gmail.com with an idea of what you would like to write about. We will also be featuring Vlogs, so if writing isn’t your thing but you’ve got something to say and are happy to talk on film, then we want to hear from you too!
When our club nights start again, we will post the uncensored galleries from the parties here without the risk of having our social media accounts deleted (again ) and on that note, we have been working on a new project that will be launching soon, a way for our community to connect and stay in touch, something that we have really missed during the year of Covid, as well as a resource to find out more about all the different elements of the TG Universe….I’m sworn to secrecy for a couple more weeks, but will post here as well as send a newsletter/ updating our social media as we get closer to the launch date
So I hope you enjoy this new feature to the website, and if you would like to contribute, please get in touch, we want to include people from every element of our diverse and wonderful family!
We can’t wait to see you all on the dancefloor soon!
